Terms of Service

These terms describe the responsibilities that come with using StudyKitab and the limits of AI-generated study material.

1. Agreement

By accessing or using StudyKitab, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are not legally able to agree on your own, a parent or guardian must review these terms with you.

2. The service

StudyKitab is an Android study companion that can transform user-provided topics and extracted document text into assignment drafts, explanations, audio playback and quizzes. Features, limits, supported formats and availability may change as the service develops.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Do not create accounts by automated means or use another person’s account without permission.

4. Academic integrity and acceptable use

StudyKitab is intended to support learning, drafting and practice. You are responsible for following the rules of your teacher, institution and assessment. You must review, understand and, where required, cite or disclose generated assistance before submitting work.

You may not use StudyKitab to:

  • impersonate another person, commit fraud or misrepresent authorship;
  • violate examination rules, academic policies or applicable law;
  • upload content you do not have permission to use;
  • generate harmful, abusive, deceptive or unlawful material;
  • probe, overload, reverse engineer or bypass service limits or security controls;
  • resell access or use automated tools to make excessive requests.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of material you submit and outputs you may own under applicable law. You give us a limited permission to process submitted text solely to operate, secure and improve the requested StudyKitab functionality. You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the material.

Original imported files are processed on your device; extracted text is sent when you request generation. Do not submit confidential, regulated or highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for your study request.

6. AI-generated material

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for your course. It is a draft and study aid—not a guaranteed answer, professional advice or substitute for your own review.

You are responsible for checking facts, calculations, citations, originality and formatting. We do not promise that generated material will earn a particular grade, satisfy a rubric or be free from similarity with existing material.

7. Free limits, pro access and advertising

StudyKitab may apply daily generation limits. Eligible users may receive different allowances, and rewarded ads may provide additional usage when available. Limits, ad availability and account tiers do not create a guarantee of uninterrupted access. Any future paid offering will display its price and terms before purchase.

8. Local files and device features

You control exported PDFs and locally saved lessons or quizzes. Back up important files yourself. Uninstalling the app, clearing app data, changing devices or device failure may remove local content. On-device text-to-speech quality and available voices depend on your Android system.

9. Third-party services

StudyKitab depends on providers for authentication, cloud delivery, email, AI generation and optional advertising. Their services and terms may affect availability. Google and Google Play are not sponsors of user-generated StudyKitab content.

10. Intellectual property

The StudyKitab name, logo, app design, website and original software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service, not ownership of StudyKitab technology or branding.

11. Suspension, changes and termination

We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and may restrict accounts that violate these terms, threaten the service or create legal risk. You may stop using StudyKitab at any time and may request account deletion through our deletion page.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, StudyKitab is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost grades, lost data or reliance on generated output. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Resolving concerns

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These terms are interpreted under applicable law, and mandatory consumer protections in your location continue to apply.

14. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to StudyKitab or legal requirements. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
